Thriller v1 #9, 1984 - This sci-fi title features a gifted woman named Angeline Thriller who leads a team of seven adventurers. It's a format vaguely similar to the original Secret Six, Challengers of the Unknown and other non-superhero teams. Alex Nino, better known for his horror stories, does a phenomenal job with the illustrations. The artist's cover design is visually arresting yet well composed and not overly chaotic. His story art includes two double page spreads that depicts alien machinery in beautifully orchestrated detail. Nino's work on this title is lesser known and quite frankly underrated. This is 1 of 4 Thriller issues by Nino.
