Adventure Comics v1 #466, 1979 - Welcomed by sniper fire at the gates, Aquaman and Mera discover Atlantis has been taken over by Nazis. There's a fluidity to Don Newton's artwork that seems well suited for the hero's underwater adventures. His best panel is Aquaman's disposal of the attackers on page 2 (see interior page below). Dan Adkins' inking enhances it even further. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Mike Nasser, Jim Aparo, Joe Staton and Jose Luis Garcia Lopez.
