Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #63 |
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #63, 1945 - Finding a ten dollar bill on the street, Donald and his nephews go to great lengths to find the original owner. The story uses plenty of cartoon violence, mostly directed at the main characters.
Carl Barks' drawings continue to be distinct from other artists working in the same genre. He also tries his hand at a new visual gag: a house full of people busting at the seams on page 7. This story was later reprinted in
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #304. Other artists in this golden age comic include Al Taliaferro. Cover by Walt Kelly. This is 32 of 280
