Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #155, 1953 - Placing pots of "gold" at the end of the rainbow, Uncle Scrooge tests his relatives to determine who's smart enough to use the money wisely. The winner would stand to inherit the miser's vast fortune. Gladstone Gander, Donald Duck and Huey, Louie and Dewey each make different choices based on their personalities. This
Carl Barks tale is competently drawn and carefully sequenced. While the settings seem mundane and the layouts repetitive, the visual storytelling itself is effective. This story was later reprinted in
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #348 and #
476. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is 115 of 280
