Tarzan #123 |
Tarzan v1 #123,
1961 - Exploring new territory, the Brothers of the Spear encounter threats from a rhino and a band of gorillas.
Russ Manning's opening page contains plenty of detailed flora, adding an exotic flair to the panels. Subsequent pages, however, lose momentum from a lack of detail. Sandwiched between two Tarzan features, this Manning tale is shorter than usual. This story was later reprinted in
Tarzan #200. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jesse Marsh. This is 85 of 132
Tarzan issues by
Manning.
