True Secrets #38 - Matt Baker art

True Secrets #38
True Secrets v1 #38, 1956Matt Baker opens "Worth Waiting For" with a enormous panel, spacious enough to display a loving couple's tender kiss. In the story, young Pam is impatient to be married but her beau would rather wait until his job is secure. Baker varies his layouts according to the needs of the sequences. His drawings are well-crafted, including using contemporary camera angles. Unlike his story in a previous issue of this series, the artwork is crisp and clearly defined. Other artists in this golden age comic include Gene Colan, John Romita, Al Hartley and Vince Colletta. This is number 4 of 4 True Secrets issues by Baker
