Thrilling Romances v1 #19, 1952 - In Alex Toth's first contribution on the series, he provides two small illustrations for an interior text story. Like many text illos, the drawings are rushed with little consideration to detail or composition. Mike Peppe, his frequent collaborator on romance tales, does the inking and also does the bare minimum. Thankfully, Toth would expend more effort on subsequent issues. Other artists in this golden age comic include Mike Sekowsky and Ralph Mayo.
