Man of Steel v1 #5, 1986 - Superman meets his “Bizarro” counterpart for the first time, including a brand new (yet similar) look.
John Byrne's upgrade of the villain includes a more rational origin. The drawings are eye-pleasing, placed within dependably designed layouts. Bizarro Superman’s image is hidden throughout the first half of the book, making his initial appearance that much more jarring. Kudos to Byrne for that clever approach and other interesting techniques. This is 5 of 6
