Danger Trail #2 - Alex Toth art

Danger Trail #2
Danger Trail v1 #2, 1950 - To save the family ranch, a Texan travels to Argentina to buy more cattle. Arriving at Tierra Del Toros, he’s welcomed by both a pretty señorita and a rampaging bull. Once again, Alex Toth pulls the reader in with a distinctive design of the opening splash. His pencils are unusually smoothed out by an unknown inker. The artwork is clean and crisp and sometimes unrecognizable in his style. And yet, Toth’s panel and page designs more than compensate. Other artists in this golden age comic include Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella. This is 2 of 5 Danger Trail issues by Toth.
