Avengers v1 #16, 1965 - With the original members taking a leave of absence, Captain America leads a new team comprised of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye.
Jack Kirby's cover is uncommonly lackluster, despite the gallery of heroes and villains behind him. With the exception of page 18, his layouts are largely ineffective. Other artists in this silver age comic include Dick Ayers.
