All American Men of War v2 #30 - Wally Wood art

All American Men of War v2 #30
All American Men of War v2 #30, 1956 - High above Nazi-occupied France, a lone pilot scours the landscape for an elusive battery of big guns. The drawings are ample in detail and effort. Wally Wood employs soaring perspectives to heighten and increase visual interest. The more spacious airborne scenes are accommodated by larger, well-placed panels. This story was later reprinted in Sgt. Rock Special #4. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jerry Grandenetti, Bob Forgione, Jack Abel and Russ Heath. This is 2 of 2 All American Men of War issues by Wood.
