Led their leader Captain Krydd, the execution he orders is thwarted by Starman. Steve Ditko is midway through his run of the series. His pencils are merely adequate, bolstered by Romeo Tanghal's fine inking. Plastic Man and Starman features take up equal space on the cover, but Jim Starlin's right half stands out due to its silhouetted figures.
