Savage Sword of Conan v1 #3, 1974 - Eight pages of Barry Smith drawings are published for the first time, originally drawn for a Kull paperback that was never produced. Stylistically, they match the artist's earliest issues of Conan (in fact, Kull wears the same helmet). The visuals are roughly drawn but youthful and enthusiastic. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema, Michael Kaluta, Gil Kane and Tony Dezuniga. This is number 1 of 1 Savage Sword of Conan issues with Smith art and/or covers (not including reprints).
