Cowboy Love v2 #7, 1950 - When gold is discovered in a small town, a gang of thugs soon take over. A stranger intervenes, winning the heart of the shopkeeper's daughter. This early work by Al Williamson showcases his penchant for dynamic figure drawing. It would become a hallmark of his style in later years. George Evans, to his credit, retain the excitement of the pencils with his inking. The layouts and pacing are less crude than other golden age comics, but are generally below the artist's standards. This is 1 of 1 Cowboy Love issues by Williamson.
