Tarzan v1 #41, 1953 - In the Brothers of the Spear tale, Dan-El returns from exile only to find a usurper on his throne. With his friend Natongo and an army of loyal soldiers, they prepare for war. Still early on this series, Russ Manning struggles with both drawing and composition. Crowding within panels and an overuse of details is prevalent.
