House of Secrets v1 #153, 1978 - Traveling to a Greek isle, an archeologist seeks to capture a legendary shape-shifter, which would guarantee him worldwide fame. Alex Nino ends his run on the series, delivering a story full of grotesque renderings. Some panels are a bit dialogue heavy, confined the artwork to smaller spaces. On the whole, Nino does a fine job, especially with his horrifically oozing opening splash. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Jim Aparo, Gerry Talaoc, Val Mayerik and Augie Scotto.
