Avengers v1 #189, 1979 - No longer an Avenger, Hawkeye finds a warehouse security job that soon pits him against the razor sharp wings of Deathbird. John Byrne's artwork (aided by Dan Green) continues to be superlative. Layouts are carefully constructed for maximum storytelling. Note that Thor's departure on page 2 (see interior page below) employs multiple viewpoints for variety's sake.
