Berni Wrightson: A Look Back SC (softcover book), 1991 - Perhaps the first comprehensive look at Bernie Wrightson's career, this book contains a treasure trove of works in full color. From his art school days in Baltimore to the present, Wrightson's creative output is impressive. The artist's own recollections are included, often accompanying the numerous drawings and paintings. His comic books for DC, Marvel and Warren are covered extensively, as well as plates, portfolios and commercial works. The only complete story reprint comes from his award-winning tale "The Gourmet" from Plop #1. Another noteworthy inclusion is the original drawing to House of Secrets #107, seen in its entirety as a wrap-around cover. A hardcover edition also exists.
