Forbidden Worlds #138 - Steve Ditko art

Forbidden Worlds v1 #138, 1966 - Defeating a spy with mystical powers, a former Union soldier wanders the Earth immortal, but with no memory of his past. Steve Ditko's art lacks distinction and enthusiasm. The drawings lack effort and are hampered further by poor inking. Sal Trapani collaborated with Ditko on several ACG stories, most of which are neither appealing nor memorable. Other artists in this issue include Paul Reinman, Tom Hickey, Pete Costanza and Kurt Schaffenberger. This is number 2 of 3 Forbidden Worlds issues with Ditko art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Ditko or Forbidden Worlds issues. See also this blog's Steve Ditko checklist.
