Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles #69 - Al Williamson art

Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles #69

Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles v1 #69, 1958 - Visiting a fellow marshal in another town, Wild Bill is suddenly forced to leave by the local thugs. Hurriedly drawn and poorly laid out, all three Al Williamson tales fall below his usuals standards. Backgrounds are spare and details are omitted on nearly every page. The illustrations lack clarity and definition, even with Angelo Torres' inking. Other artists in this golden age western comic include Sal Trapani. This is 2 of 3 Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles issues by Williamson.
