Marvel Fanfare #24 - Mike Ploog art

Marvel Fanfare #24
Marvel Fanfare v1 #24, 1986 - Seeking a new home for themselves, the elves Tyndall and Velanna find respite at a village tavern. Unfortunately, they befriend a dwarf who entangles them in his troubles, including being pursued by the feared Were-men. Mike Ploog drew two previous Weirdworld tales, but here his enthusiasm seems to wane. The drawings and layouts are hurried and lack detail. Craig Russell, the cover artist and story inker, is unable to salvage the pencils. Other artists in this copper age comic include Pat Broderick, Sal Buscema and Rudy Nebres. This is 1 of 1 Marvel Fanfare issues by Ploog.
