House of Secrets #82 - Neal Adams cover, non-attributed Adams art

Neal Adams
House of Secrets v1 #82, 1970 - Constantly nagged upon by his overbearing wife, a mousey husband finds a possible solution to his problems. This brief tale of suburban hell is ably pencilled by Dick Dillin, but disappointingly inked by Neal Adams. There is little evidence of enhancement and most panels are unrecognizable stylistically. In fact, most of the inks look suspiciously like Dick Giordano. This story was later reprinted in House of Mystery #224. Adams does much better on the ghostly-themed cover. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Bill Draut and Jack Sparling. This is 2 of 9 House of Secrets issues by Adams.
