Teen-age Romance v1 #84, 1961 - Jack Kirby seems to expend little effort in his two romance tales. In the first, a wealthy girl parades her beauty around on a private beach, turning heads with one glaring exception. In the second, a newly arrived teenager experiences the unfriendliness of people in the big city. Details are sparse and Vince Colletta's inks make it worse. One bright spot is Kirby's splendid cover. The background figure on the left is a bit crowded, but the scene overall is well laid out. "The Summer Must End" was later reprinted in Our Love Story #9. Other artists in this silver age comic include Don Heck. This is 1 of 3 Teen-age Romance issues by Kirby.
