Fightin' Marines v2 #10, 1952 - Not one of his stronger covers on the series, Matt Baker illustrates (among other things) an amphibious assault. The drawing is looser than usual and lacks excitement. The barbed wire on the lower right looks more like an afterthought than an integral part of the layout. Other artists in this golden age war comic include Gene Colan.
