Cheyenne Kid #11 - non-attributed Al Williamson art

Cheyenne Kid #11
Cheyenne Kid v1 #11, 1958 - Determined to bring in his nemesis, the Cheyenne Kid chases Silent Otter into a vast, unfamiliar desert. Separated into two parts, this western tale shows minimal effort by Al Williamson. Details are sparse, despite the usually reliable inking of Angelo Torres. Williamson's second story is divided into three parts, as the Cheyenne Kid fights to keep the peace between indians and white men. Part 1 stands out due its greater clarity and lush backgrounds but poor foreshortening mars the opening splash of part 2. With one exception, overall the artwork fails to meet expectations. Other artists in this golden age western comic include Rocco Mastroserio, Bill Molno and Pete Morisi. This is 2 of 5 Cheyenne Kid issues by Williamson.
