Vampire Tales #2 |
Vampire Tales v1 #2, 1973 - A stalker corners a young woman in an alley, unaware that his prey is the devil's daughter. Satana makes her debut in a four page tale written by Roy Thomas and drawn by John Romita. Although brief, it previews her own continuing feature starting with the next issue. Elsewhere in the book is Jim Steranko's excellent horror tale from Tower of Shadows #1. Presented in black and white, I prefer the original by far. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Jose Antonio Domingo, Rich Buckler, Pablo Marcos, Mannie Banks, Jesus Blasco, Carlos Garzon and Klaus Janson. /// key 1st appearance Satana
