The Flash v1 #294, 1981 - Firestorm begins as the series' backup feature with
Jim Starlin handling the penciling chores. When Professor Martin goes to the South Pacific, Ronnie Raymond has to curtail his superhero antics for now. The story artwork appears sloppy for the most part, with little help from Bob Wiacek's loose inks. Although there's some variety within the panels, Starlin's layouts still fall below his usual standards. Other artists in this issue include Dick Giordano. Cover by Don Heck. This is 1 of 3
