My Greatest Adventure #85 - Alex Toth art

My Greatest Adventure #85
My Greatest Adventure v1 #85, 1964 - Transferred to Guatemala, a new plantation foreman becomes entangled in the hands of a legendary giant. Despite the odd plot, Alex Toth does an admirable job with this back-up tale. His artwork is finely detailed throughout, excepting the underwater quicksand scenes. Toth simplifies the panels convey the obscurity of the water and to contrast against the surface settings. This story was later reprinted in House of Secrets #93. Other artists in this silver age comic include Bob Brown and Bruno Premiani. This is 6 of 6 My Greatest Adventure issues by Toth.
