Treasure Comics v2 #8 - Frank Frazetta art

Treasure Comics v2 #8, 1945 - During colonial America, a bloody conflict between whites and indians (known as King Phillip's War) terrorizes New England. Frank Frazetta captures the violence and carnage, but his draftsmanship is sorely lacking. Poorly proportioned figures and minimal details contribute to an amateurish feel. Inexplicably, the indians in the opening battle scene seem to levitate above the fray. Thankfully, Frazetta's drawing skills would improve significantly in the next few years. Other artists in this issue include H.C. Kiefer. This is number 2 of 2 Treasure Comics issues with Frazetta art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Frazetta or Treasure Comics issues.
