Omac #6 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Omac v1 #6 dc bronze age comic book cover art by Jack Kirby
Jack Kirby
Omac v1 #6, 1975 - Buck Blue leads Omac to the top secret "Terminal", where young bodies are exchanged for old. Jack Kirby's damsel-in-distress cover is a theme he rarely used in the bronze age, but works sufficiently here. All three of the artist's splash pages are terrific, two of which showcase the morbidly grotesque "Sickies". No two-page spread occurs this time, but the artwork as a whole meets expectations. Of note is Omac's bombastic entrance on page 16, crashing through an army of thugs. This is 6 of 8 Omac issues by Kirby. /// Kirby gallery
