Phantom Stranger v2 #3, 1969 - After a successful reintroduction in Showcase #80, DC launches this enigmatic character's second series. Neal Adams' cover portrays a cloaked figure pulling a boy from a merry-go-round while the Phantom Stranger rushes to his aid. The artist employs the same kind of eerie approach he used on other mystery titles. The spontaneity of the drawing implies the movement of the carousel. Note how the hero's face is unobscured by shadow, contrasting against the masthead and later renditions of the character. Other artists in this silver age comic include Bill Draut. This is 1 of 17 Phantom Stranger v2 issues by Adams.

there ABSOLUTELY needs to be a hardcover book of either:
A)DC's horror covers
B)Neal Adams' DC covers
C)both
This is one of my favorite DC horror titles... Neal Adams really produced a great run of covers for this series.
