Vigilante v1 #35, 1986 - John Byrne's first rendition of the Vigilante shows little distinction from others, mostly due to the costume design. The two figures frame the center of the explosion but draw unnecessary attention to the nunchucks. Byrne's layout is deceptively simple but partially offset by the textural background. The results are generally underwhelming. Other artists in this copper age comic include Chuck Patton and Rick Magyar.
