Marvel Team-Up v1 #61, 1977 - The cover strongly suggests an attack on Spider-man by the Fantastic Four, and John Byrne's first several pages do little to change that perception. His opening splash displays a threatening rocky fist, primed and ready to strike. The Human Torch soon appears to convince him otherwise, aiding him against the real foe revealed in the story's dramatic second splash. Byrne's last page is just as compellingly drawn, enticing the reader to pick up the next issue. Tigra the Were-woman makes a cameo appearance. Cover by Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott.
