John Byrne would later be known for his Marvel superhero work, his early style fits the cartoon genre surprisingly well. His three short stories are both pleasing and well told. Throughout the book, his car characters have expressions and movements that even surpass that of the tv show. Could this better than expected effort be credited to Byrne's love of drawing machinery?
