The Saint v1 #10, 1951 - Wally Wood drew a number of inside front covers for Avon Periodicals, which would typically outshine the interior stories. This spy-themed title is certainly no exception. His sumptuous line drawing is augmented by a skillful use of halftones, bringing dimension to the monochromatic page. Each panel floats freely in a loose montage, depicting various scenes from each story. Wood's buxom women are showcased but tend to compete with the central character. This is 1 of 1 Saint issues by Wood.
