Unearthly Spectaculars v1 #2 starring Jack Quick Frost, 1966 - In separate stories, special agent Jim Flynn is equipped with the ability to freeze his enemies and oceanographer Ed Yates becomes a n underwater crimefighter through a freak accident. Both drawn by Jack Sparling, Jack Quick Frost and the Pirahna makes their debuts this issue. Clawfang the Barbarian appears in two tales exquisitely drawn by Al Williamson. The two page introduction appeared earlier in Thrill-O-Rama #2, while the newer pages were reprinted in Al Williamson Forbidden Worlds. Former EC artist Wally Wood contributes two works: a humorous parody of super-heroes and a sci-fi tale of an astronaut landing on a far-flung planet. Both are competently drawn, despite their differences in tone and genre. Other artists in this silver age comic include Gil Kane and Mike Sekowsky.
