Tarzan's Jungle Annual v1 #7 / Dell Giant, 1958 - Tarzan's son Boy has to defend himself against leopards and lions, armed only with a small bow and arrow. Russ Manning seems to find his own unique voice in his last short story of the series. Page layouts are more confident and drawings are tighter and more polished. Highlights include a single panel of Boy draped in the shadows of jungle foliage (page 4) and the final scene of a frenetic nighttime rescue (page 8).
