Ringo Kid #10 |
Ringo Kid v1 #10, 1956 - A town bully more than meets his match when a gun-toting woman comes to town. Al Williamson draws one of his finest opening splashes, capturing the bully's utter dominance over the community. His pencils are augmented by Angelo Torres' capable inks. According to some sources, Torres did the entire last page himself. A mayoral figure on the bottom left is consistent with other character drawings. This story was later reprinted in both Ringo Kid v2 #1 and Ringo Kid v2 #20. Other artists in this golden age comic include Fred Kida. Cover by John Severin. This is 1 of 2 Ringo Kid issues by Williamson.
