Amazing Adventures v3 #8 featuring the Inhumans and Black Widow, 1970 - As Black Bolt threatens to raze the city, Thor intervenes to find a peaceful resolution. Neal Adams does his best opening splash yet, featuring the Avengers huddled as they watch the imminent threat on the evening news. Beautifully composed and dimensional, the scene suffers only slightly less than the remaining pages. Unfortunately, John Verpoorten's inks fall short in both clarity and aesthetics. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Don Heck and Bill Everett. This is 4 of 5 Amazing Adventures v3 issues by Adams.
