Wyatt Earp #7 - Al Williamson art

Wyatt Earp #7
Wyatt Earp v1 #7, 1956 - A cowboy earns the title of fastest gun in town, much to his dismay as he gets frequently challenged. The illustrations on this western tale are lively, with almost impressionistic brushwork in certain scenes. Al Williamson employs larger panels than usual, some noticeably lacking in background detail. Despite this, the artist's rough-hewn style works perfectly for the western genre. Other artists in this golden age comic include Norman Maurer and Reed Crandall. Cover by John Severin. This is 2 of 3 Wyatt Earp issues by Williamson.
