Power Man v1 #49, 1978 - With the aid of Iron Fist and Misty Knight, Power Man storms a prison to save his friends from the infamous Bushmaster. Beyond the page-long recap of the previous issue, John Byrne does an admirable job depicting the fast-paced action and various characters. His engagingly drawn pencils further benefit from Dan Green's superlative inks. Note that starting with this issue, Iron Fist appears regularly on the series. Other artists in this bronze age comic include cover artist Ron Wilson. This is 2 of 11 Power Man issues by Byrne.
