Twilight Zone v2 #3, 1963 - A modern day archaeological expedition, delving into a pyramid, suddenly awakens an ancient Egyptian queen and her entourage. Alex Toth does a merely competent job with the story, strictly adhering to a six-panel grid. Some scenes are better drawn than others, particularly when the Egyptians come to life (see interior page below). In general, Toth's drawings lack the usual dimension, perhaps due to a collaborating inker. Curiously, colored bands also surround the panels but distract from the artwork. Other artists in this silver age horror comic include Mike Sekowsky.
