Haunted #14 - Steve Ditko art & cover

Haunted v1 #14, 1973 - Immersed in a fog on the open sea, a lone fisherman hears a ghostly cry for help. Steve Ditko's cover is a little too simplistic. His interior story fares not much better, using thin parallel lines to simulate a foggy effect (see interior page below). While I applaud the attempt, the execution is only partially convincing. Other artists in this bronze age horror comic include Jack Abel, Nick Cuti and Pat Boyette.
