| The Cat v2 #4 |
(Beware The Claws of) The Cat v3 #4, 1972 - According to the opening credits, both
Jim Starlin and Al Weiss share artistic duties for this final issue of the series. Weiss appears to have drawn most of the female figures throughout (including the title character), which are elongated and distorted to the point of inconsistency. With the exception of the first two pages, Starlin appears to have done the bulk of the layouts. His pencils are evident on most of the backgrounds and remaining figures. The Man-Bull's dramatic entrance on page five, panel three falls conspicuously flat. Starlin's poor executions contribute to an overall disappointing effort.
