Avengers v1 #94, 1971 - Earth becomes a battleground in the war between Skrull and Kree, involving both the Avengers and the hermetic Inhumans. Neal Adams continues into his second issue, his keen draftsmanship permeating every scene. After the first six pages, a segment by John Buscema briefly interrupts the artistic flow. By page 17, Adams resumes the artistic chores, delivering a total of four terrific splashes by the story's end. The most daring of these depicts a soldier's distorted, nightmarish view under military interrogation. This bronze age story was later reprinted in Kree-Skrull War #1. This is 3 of 5 Avengers issues by Adams.
