Western Outlaws v2 #14 |
Western Outlaws v2 #14, 1956 - After the latest stagecoach robbery, a small town sheriff decides to track down the perpetrators himself. The opening splash page is a rarity for Al Williamson, but he makes full use of it. His stunning composition captures the exact moment of the robbery, surrounded by detailed rocky terrain. Al Williamson's art is fairly loose, but made more so by Gray Morrow's inking. Other artists in this Atlas golden age western comic include John Romita and Dick Ayers. Cover by Joe Maneely. This is number 2 of 3 Western Outlaws v2 issues with Williamson art and/or covers.
