Our Army At War v1 #194 featuring Sgt. Rock, 1968 - The Kid Guerrillas of Unit 3, a band of French resistance fighters, assist Sgt. Rock in sabotaging the transport of Nazi warheads. In addition to their leader Henri, more members' names and backgrounds are revealed. Joe Kubert's frenetically charged drawings reside within thoughtful sequences and well-constructed layouts. Rock's nighttime parachute drop (see interior page below) is only one of the many exciting images throughout the book. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jack Abel.
