Frank Brunner |
Alien Worlds v1 #6, 1984 - An assertive woman finds herself confronting an alien life form of beastly proportions.
Frank Brunner's painterly cover adequately sets the tone for his feature story, which pales by comparison. Aside from a panoramic splash page, the layouts and pacing are fairly conservative. His artwork is further hampered by crudely applied inks, unsympathetic to the initial pencils. Sadly, the finesse that Brunner is well known for is sorely lacking here. Other artists in this copper age science fiction comic include Roy Krenkel, Jim Sullivan and Arthur Sudyam. This is 1 of 2
