Man-Thing v1 #6, 1974 -
Mike Ploog continues illustrating the story of a despondent clown's ghost and the events that shaped him. A bold opening splash is followed by a two-page wide panel that heightens the drama. A multitude of characters fill the pages, all distinctive and individual. Unlike his previous issue, the drawings are more tightly delineated. Ploog's best panels are the action scenes on pages 28 and 30, where the Man-Thing fends off denizens of the underworld. This is 2 of 7
