| Korak Son of Tarzan #6 |
Korak Son of Tarzan v1 #6, 1964 - A lightning strike must decide between two tribal leaders, one peaceful and the other intent on war.
Russ Manning's pencils are barely recognizable, due to assistant Mike Royer's heavy-handed inking. The artist fares better on his second tale, where Korak befriends a ship captain and a friendly dolphin. Some details are lacking, especially faces and figures. The delineations of each panel seem harshly applied with little sensitivity. Still, Manning's hand is much more evident here.
